About Dr. Tahsin Ashraf

Dr. Tahsin Ashraf is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from NYIT and received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from New York College Of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she was chief resident. Dr. Ashraf worked at St Charles Acute Rehabilitation and Northport VA where she helped patients suffering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and various orthopedic conditions recover and reach their functional goals. She worked with patients with amputations, back pain, joint pains, concussions, chronic migraines, spasticity and helped to diagnose conditions using electrodiagnostic medicine.

Dr. Ashraf is a compassionate physician whose primary goal is to maximize patients’ functional ability, reduce pain and improve their lifestyle. She completed her education and post graduate training all on Long Island and is eager to continue helping treat patients here.
